Dinner at Abuelos. We love Abuelos, we go there once a week, we love the service and the ambiance, and the drinks are great, we love sitting at the bar and visiting with everyone, the manager Jessica is a great person, alway around if you need her and so is the manager George. Keep up the good work.
Excellent but they don’t deliver as stated here.
Not Very Authentic, But Delicious. Abuelo’s serves very creative enchiladas. Mix and match: avocado, creamed spinach, chicken, seasoned ground beef, shredded beef, cheese & shredded pork matched with the sauces of your choice. I like to accompany mine with charro beans and cilantro lime rice. My husband prefers papas con chile (Mexican-style mashed potatoes) and refried beans.Get there early on Thursday for their prime rib special. It runs out fairly early. Also, be prepared to wait for a table any time you go. Ask for a menu to study while you wait.Our table service has always been good and our servers both friendly and efficient and they made some yummy suggestions. We like it so much we go a couple of times a month.
Mexican wannabe. Not authentic mexican food. Did not like it. It was more something like tex-mex fare. Nothing special.
When in Phoenix. My in-laws love this place, so whenever we’re in the west we love it too. The food is really tasty. We always enjoy eating at Abuelo’s.
Avocado Enchiladas. I really like this place! It’s great for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon lunch with friends. They have great lunch specials. I usually order 2 avocado enchiladas topped with cream sauce and a side of papas con chile (spicy mashed potatoes). Their chips and salsa are pretty good. Reasonable prices too!If you’re vegetarian, avoid the beans. They are made with bacon!
Awesome food, verrrry reasonable prices, and good service. A regular favourite!
