Tried this place a couple of times over Thanksgiving weekend and had great meals both times. The only sour note was the caprese salad. It was a lettuce based salad with a few slices of tomato and mozzarella on top instead of a true caprese. Other than that, great quality ingredients in interesting combinations.
Char is a fast casual restaurant with a bar that specializes in Neapolitan Style Pizza that you can customize. You order you pizza from a menu or customize it sort of cafeteria style with the help of employees behind the glass. You proceed threw the cafeteria line and pay at the cashier. They give you a number and you seat yourself. The food gets ran to you. We shared a Char house salad that was fresh and ok. I had the Bianca Pizza. It’s a white pizza with garlic and basil. The crust was thin and crisp but had raw flour on the bottom. The top might have been made with quality cheeses but the cheese was baked on hard and crisp. The amount of toppings were scant and one piece of my pizza had no topping at all. Better than similar concept restaurants that I tried.
