Good atmosphere, average food. Food portions were huge (the Papa’s special could feed two people). Service was prompt. They had a musician playing in the bar who had a very wide repertoire but was so loud that dinner table conversation was impossible. Eventually someone must have complained, as he turned it down a bit, making for a far more pleasant experience. Food tasted good, but all four of us reported indigestion later that evening. Could have been better, and we did not return later in the week.

Disappointing. We had been visiting this restaurant for a few years but it appears something has changed. Portion sizes have gotten smaller and maybe that’s a result of the economy. However, I was there for one of my favorites – Veal Parmigiana – and was informed by our waiter they were out of veal parmigiana but they still had veal piccata. What’s wrong with this picture. That, of course, explained part of why, on recent visits, the portions were smaller and the flavor was not as good as a few years ago. Needless to say, if I’m going to have a frozen veal cutlet, I can get a box of them at one of the warehouse stores.

Made my pasta dish so i had no one to blame but myself. Did the rustica marinara with fettucinni and added artichokes kalmata olives and feta and it was quite tasty. Better than anticipated. Service was good.

Yuck!. Those who said this is a step up from Olive Garden were wrong in my view. Not that the OG is special, but at least the food is edible. Our experience at Tagliani was one of the worst ever. The calamari we shared was tasteless, overlooked, rubbery and served with two bland sauces. Then, my husband’s pizza was undercooked. He scraped the toppings off the doughy mess. My chicken Marsala tasted like it had canned gravy on it. Very disappointing. Will not return.

Best Italian In Arizona. I think Cucina Tagliani is the BEST Italian Food Restaurant in the whole State of Arizona. Either restaurant puts out the BEST food. I just love Tagliani food.
