Gone downhill. If you read these reviews some are from when Joe ran the place. Was so looking forward when original owners reopened after Joe closed.Initially pizza was very good – don’t know what happened – if they change cooks too often -but it is never consistent – sometime too much sauce – others not enough…sometime too sweet and cheese ALWAYS slides off with the first bite Dough is flavorless and adds nothing to the pizza. What a shame for a neighborhood joint that I wanted to be good.
I didn’t really care for it. I have eaten my share of Chicago pizza in my time and this stuff is just ok. I also has the Italian beef and sausage combo and it was far off the mark. While the food was not the worst I have had, I would rather eat elsewhere.
Homesick?. The pizza is very similar to the Classic Home Run Inn pizza, which if you’re lucky you can find at Costco once in a while. I didn’t think the crust was as good, as it’s a little too much like saltine crackers. Still, this is the real deal outside of Chicagoland.
Awesome Pizza. Fuzzy’s Chicago Style Pizza keeps me from missing my home town of Chicago so much. Their Thin Crust Pizza is awesome! The sweet sauce and Italian Sausage is just like back home. It’s hard for me not to get the Pizza, but when I do I love to eat their Italian Beef Sandwich. I will return again and again.
ITS 1 OF THE BEST PIZZA’S IN TOWN!. Ive been ordering from Fuzzy’s for now going on 8 years and every single time they not only deliver excellent food at a great price but they always arrive much earlier then anticipated. The pizza with a super thin but not too thin crust is perfectly baked and the sausage is the best. If youre not familar with baked raviolis then nows the time to try them because Fuzzys serves them up perfect every time. Consistency is th key as is the friendly neighborhood vibe you get when you dine in. Im hooked for life! Thanks guys.
Pizza And Wings:. I make a bi-weekly drive to Fuzzy’s for the Thin Crust Pizza. The owner Joe is very cordial and treats you as one of the family. The Pizza is very good and the BBQ Wings are some of the best I’ve eaten. I always order the medium cheese, sausage and mushroom pie along with wings, fried ravioli and Chicago Tamales. Every single time you can expect the same quality from Fuzzy’s, great. I would recommend this Pizza Joint to anyone that loves a great pie.
