Genuine Old Wild West Restaurant SMACK in the middle of a residential neighborhood. This historic building used to be a general store but was converted to a restaurant a few years back. This restaurant that serves breakfast on on weekends, lunch and dinners seven days a week. I noticed that they have a separate burger menu you might want to ask for when you dine here. We ordered off the regular menu. We started with sweet corn nuggets.($4.25 HH) They were batter dipped saucy sweet corn kernels that were very yummy and hard to stop eating and they came with a cajun spiced dip that was tasty. For dinner I had the halibut special. My fish was prepared next to perfect and had a delicious grill taste to it. They topped the fish with peaches and served it up with fresh charred asparagus and barley risotto. ($17) My husband had the country fried steak ($13.75) His meal came with a dinner salad and he picked the fresh mixed vegetables and mac-n-cheese as his sides. He said the steak was pretty good but the sauce on it was very good. We weren’t big fans of the mac-n-cheese but we are very picky about mac-n-cheese and would pick a different side next time. The service was very efficient. The pricing was very reasonable and the food was good. I’ll be back to try new things. 6-19-16*****UpdateNot sure if they have gone down since the name change to JD Campbells. Been there a few times and I haven’t been as pleased. I posted a picture of the salmon I had last night and you can see it’s not the same.
