Cooked Sushi anyone?. Ever since I found Tokyo Lobby, I haven’t been to any other sushi restaurants on the West Side, but a friend of mine treated me to dinner at Kabuki (not the same Kabuki as Westgate) and I was pleasantly surprised. This place has the best coffee mochi I’ve ever had! Staff was very friendly and offered suggestions for my friend and I since my friend is pregnant. I’ll probably still stick with Tokyo Lobby, but this is a good place for non-sushi lovers (aka people who only eat the cooked stuff).
Confused???. I actually really liked the sushi at this place the first time I went. On my recent trip I didn’t even get to enjoy it.. I decided to cancel my sushi order after 40 minutes of waiting for it.. Left me craving so I picked up Sakana instead. My husband noticed the table was sticky told the waitress and she actually brought him a towel which he used to wipe it himself.. The food he ordered was chicken and steak terryaki which was really good but it is sushi place so why wouldn’t I get my sushi first.. I really don’t think I could go back I was really dissapointed. I def. never write bad reviews
This is a very touristy place that offers an extensive menu, however, I found their sushi to be fair and the service mediocre. Our waitress was pleasant but barily audible and disappeared on numerous occasions.
