Typical Paradise Bakery chain restaurant food. The food can be a little bland but usually good. Show up at a busy time and the line maybe almost out the door and seating can be a challenge (mid-late week lunch seems to be the worst). They do have some outdoor seating.
I get it. The food is bland, American lunch fare, and the place is part of some corporate behemoth. But the people who work there are SUPER friendly, the service is fast, they let you customize your order, and the seating is ample. That goes a long way with me.
WE WANT PANERA BREAD INSTEAD!!. Coming from the Midwest, we fell in love with Panera Bread stores/bakery/restaurant, that are a lot like Paradise Bakery. Unfortunately, after going into Paradise, we realized it was NOTHING like Panera’s! Disappointed in probably everything we tried, although I really, really wanted to like it and be content with something somewhat comparable. Guess not. Ohhh, how about a Harvest Grain Bakery??? AMAZING, too!
Not local, but nice. I love locally owned coffee shops, but there aren’t too many around here, so Paradise Bakery & Cafe is a decent option. It’s clean, friendly and has a nice menu variety for a full meal or just a snack (cookies, brownies, etc). I’ve found the quality of food at this location to be a little spotty. Sometimes the baked goods aren’t as fresh as they could be, but overall it’s a good value for the money. Free wifi is a big plus.
