This is a dive bar that serves up some above average food and some below average food. The atmosphere is dark and many hunted animals on display. I tried the walleye pike. The fish had a sort of corn meal crust and came with a sweet but tasty cole slaw and shoe string fries. The fleshier parts of the fish were good but the thin ends were a little dry and chewy. The fries reminded me of Burger King. My husband had the house made roasted beef called the French Dip. The beef was very good but they put it on a budget soft squishy roll and topped the meat with a processed cheese. The kitchen is open and I saw the cook using a microwave oven many times during the cooking process. The service was very sincere, friendly and efficient.

Not so great. Quality of food at the Q has slipped since the we last visited. Fish with breading just pcs. without seasoning. Fries cold. We got two meals to go, close to the restaurant, and we were very dissatisfied. Will not visit again.
Good fish fry and ok bar food. This is a bar that has food. I would not classify it as a bar & grill even though most people are ordering food. Today a bar and grill is restaurant with a large bar, this place is a bar that serves food. Old style bar with a mostly older clientele.What makes this place great is the all-you-can-eat fish fry. They have it most days and they serve very good fried catfish and cod, depending on the day. Good strong cocktail sauce and tarter sauce comes with each order as well as fried and slaw. They also have burgers, chicken wings, chicken strips, and other fried bar food. Drinks are priced lower then you will pay at finer establishments since this is a lower rent area.Staff is friendly and service is fine. They have been in business for a very long time and they get a lot of repeat customers who tend to have a blue tint to their hair.
