Serra Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse is an independently owned business and recently opened in P83 across from the Peoria Sports Center. This is a formal looking restaurant set with tablecloths and wine glasses. They start everyone off with Brazilian Cheese Bread. Then you make a trip to the salad bar. They offer many vegetables and vegetable salads along with chicken salad, potato salad, rice, and black beans with pork. When your done with the salad you flip the card on your table to green so the gauchos (meat servers) know you are ready to be served. We were offered many cuts of meat. The best was the top sirloin is was juicy and delicious. Most of the others weren’t as good. I think they just need a few weeks to get used to preparing the meats. All the servers are friendly and they try their hardest to please you.
