LOVE Squid Ink! This is one of the only non chain restaurants in the area which is refreshing. Additionally, both the sushi and kitchen menu items are on point! I highly recommend trying the chef specials.
The sushi is good, not amazing but our sushi choices are not the best in this area. I loved the appetizers, particularly the sweet potato fries and edamame were fantastic. Service was good although the clear chairs had wobbly weak plastic legs that did not slide in and out very well and were uncomfortable. I’m willing to return and try more menu items.
Visited on a Friday at about 7 pm. Expected a long wait but was seated at the sushi bar after only about 5 minutes. Service was prompt, husband was impressed with his burger, I enjoyed salmon nigiri and the cougar roll. The salmon was heavenly and the cougar roll was very flavorful; the cucumber wrap provided a wonderful crunch. I had a cucumber mojito, which I would not order again. (The have no draft beers, only bottled.) I will be back!
AMAZING!! FRESH! YUMMY. AMAZING!! sushi in not usually my cup of tea so it has to be great for me to indulge in it! Squid Ink is one of the best I’ve ever had!! Cougar roll, Tahoe Roll, Vegas Roll, Tempura Asparagus Roll, Seaweed Salad, Buffalo Chicken Roll and the chicken wings were all amazing!! the Beignets were a bit hard but still good and hey we didn’t come here for fried dough!!
Its hard to mess up an avocado roll, but they did. the sushi rice was so undercooked it was gritty. I’ve had better sushi from the grocery store. The roasted garlic edemame was good. Ok service, but for the price you’d expect edible sushi.
Love It. The Crab Rangoon is to die for… a must try on the menu. The sushi is also excellent and fantastic quality. You can also order off menu with no problem. The only negative was that the service was a bit slow but they were really busy. Overall a great experience.
