Listen to your customers, please.. I’ve been going to this place for a couple of years now. My experience was always a mixed bag but good enough to giver it another try. Last night I went again with my family and a friend from Germany. We like ice tea and like to sweeten it with Splenda – the stuff even McDonalds offers their customers. Not so at the Texas Roadhouse. I have been asking for it for years and the answer I get pretty much every time is ‘No, we still don’t have it. A lot of customers ask for it.’ I have friends who say the same. My friend from Germany was very surprised about this because it is not in line with the great customer service he gets here. He said ‘this is the stuff that happens in the service desert called Germany – but here?’ Embarrassing.So, finally I decided to write a negative review hoping that this will get thru to their management. Ignoring multiple customer requests for something so standard is NOT showing appreciation for my business. It makes me look for alternatives and -newsflash- there are choices. Red Lobster comes to mind, you get a great variety of food at comparable prices and the noise level is a lot lower too.It is really unfortunate that their management is stubbornly rejecting the idea of offering what’s requested by customers. Do they consider their level of customer service below McDonalds? Or do they need to be cheaper than everybody else in the business?

Well thats what I tell myselftomorrow. Besides, I do this for you. You need to know the best places. I provide that service. And my daughters were hungry so what was I to do? Okay, now I feel justified and can share my opinion with you. The Texas Roadhouse is legit.
