Brisams Lacks Everything. Strictly a restaurant for the neighborhood crowd and the retired folks who will eat anything. The food is terrible and the service is always exceptionally poor. You do not want to go to this place if you value your money, because the check will make you fall off of your seat for what you get. Better place to go is Gallaghers, but only by a little bit.

Ok food, GREAT service!. After the last couple of reviews we were skeptical about trying Brisam’s, but a friend of ours recommended we give it a shot. Said they really enjoyed it so…A little restaurant that you probably wouldn’t find if not looking for it. The food wasn’t spectacular by any means, but it was good. I mean honestly, what do you expect from bar food? Or in this case a slight step above. Anyway, we started with the Santa Barbara Shrimp. Nice to have it already peeled. Interesting flavor. Something different but good. Unfortunately, it was not served with bread or even a spoon so I couldn’t tell you what the broth was actually like. From what was on the shrimp, it seemed promising.I had the Mac N Cheese which was made with penne pasta (in my opinion, a little heavy for the light sauce it had), chicken, bacon, mushrooms and topped with fresh diced tomatoes. It was surpisingly good. HUGE portion, too much for one person. My husband said his Brisam Burger was really good. The fries were nice and crispy on the outside but as most fries are, would not be good to go, or for leftovers so I’m glad we opted to eat at the restaurant rather than take our order to go. What the food lacked, the service definitely made up for. Everyone was very nice and our server was extremely attentive. They were not packed (it was a Tuesday night) but they were busy. But we felt as if we were the only ones there with how great the servce was. It’s hard for us to get out very often with an infant, but they were also very accomodating. Living in Cave Creek, our options for GOOD neighborhood restaurants is limited. And having an infant it is that much harder to find a place to go for a simple dinner when I don’t feel like cooking. We will definitely be adding this restaurant to our occaisonal night out with baby.

Avoid!!. Terrible food to the point where it simply had to be thrown away. It was a phone order that was picked up, and it was too far to have to take the food all the way back. And, the service was even worse than the food. The owner (or someone who represented himself as the owner) was nothing short of rude when asked for a refund. Avoid, avoid, AVOID!!!!
