This is a very unique place. Whimsical sort of dated surfer atmosphere with a bar and also an outside dog friendly patio. This is casual…you order at the bar, grab a number and seat yourself. They offer a free chips and salsa bar. All the proteins they offer at cooked with mesquite and it gives the meats a delicious flavor. The menu is sort of American/Mexican. I had the grilled whitefish taco platter. I loved the Mesquite grilled fish. It was truly delicious. The Spanish style rice tasted very processed. I also couldn’t eat the beans ,,they had some flavoring but mostly tasted like bean water..My husband had the 1/4 lb Tri Tip Platter. Like the fish the Tri Tip was DELICIOUS and had the same sides as my plate but also a fresh made cole slaw that was very unusual. I would give them a much higher rating if I ordered a sandwich instead of a platter only because I wasn’t a fan of the sides that I tried but I note the meats we tried were prepared great and were delicious.
