Cuban sandwich. Great sandwich… best when it is hot off the grill.15 Nov, 2014Cuban Restaurant & Bakery. We had Cuban Sandwiches for lunch and they were really good. The guava pastries were excellent!
Best cuban restaurant ever!!!. I love this restaurant I have gone multiple times! The food is amazing and it the best serves I have had in a long time. Food:The food was traditional Cuban food! The tamales and Cuban sandwiches are exceptional great . They have a large variety of deserts such as flan and pasteles de coco.Location:It is a small restaurant but don’t let that fool you. Service:The owners are exceptional people who care of your opinion. The waitress is a young woman who is extremely nice and gives great service.I sincerely recommend this restaurant. It is amazing. 🙂
Amazing Cuban food at amazingly great prices. We shared appetizers, cuban sandwich, and black beans and rice. All were yummy. Highly reccomend this little gem if in Phoenix.
Amazing is all I have to say! Staff was very helpful in explaining dishes and making recommendations. Pastries are also out of this world!! Prices are cheap too! I’ll be coming here often!!!
OMG! Found the best authentic cuban food! Tried the cuban sandwich.. Awesome and it was enough for two! Had the papa rellena .. Awesome and again for two. Everything we tried was authentic on how it was supposed to taste and look. It is a small place, hole in the wall but the food knocked it out of the park. Prices are very reasonable.
Excellent… for the Price. My family and I have been here more than a dozen times, so if we keep coming back it can’t be bad lol.The bottom line with this place is that you can get authentic Cuban food here, cooked to order, and it is very reasonably priced. I’d go so far as say this place is quite inexpensive. The Good:- Food is very inexpensive- Nice atmosphere and friendly staff- Dessert is great and also cheapThe Not as Good:- Some dishes are a lot better than others- Meat gets overcooked a bit too often for my tastesThis is a great restaurant and much better than the chain Cuban places I’ve been to around the Phoenix area that cost 2-3X as much. It is definitely not gourmet food–good food–but not gourmet. If we were making six figures we probably would not come here, but it is good food and a nice place and very affordable, so give Bisteces (I think that’s the name) a go.
Low Cost Casual Cuban. In general all the food we tried was tasty and generous and cost very little. We started with the fried mashed potato balls that were stuffed with seasoned beef. They didn’t have a crumb coating but were very large and good. I had the Cuban Chicken dish that was very flavorful and my husband had the Cuban Beef dish that was also good. Before tip we only spent $22.31 for all this food and drinks. We’d go back! There used to be a Mexican Restaurant here before called Bisteces and the signs for Bisteces all still up on the building and the shopping entrance to the strip mall.
