Meat dryer than the desert – over priced. Took forever to get our food. Steak was ordered as med and it was dryer than the desert we live in. They didnt even bring our other parties meal until after we had almost finished with our meal. Over priced.
Always exceeds our expectations. This is a lovely restaurant to go to for an occasion or just anytime. Their seafood is delicious. The presentation is beautiful and the service is impeccable. It is a very classy establishment with top notch chefs. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.
This Time A Miss. This was my third visit to Eddie V’s in North Scottsdale and I loved the first two. This one was a miss. Not because of the food – but the service. At a fine restaurant like this one, and at these price points per entree, it’s the little things that count. Little things like overfilling a coffee cup – so full you couldn’t pick it up without spilling it. We pointed it out, the server removed the coffee cups and came back with them less full – but in the same stained saucers! Our main server, Tim, was only marginally attentive to us and didn’t make the effort to strike rapport with our table of diners. Our food was good, steaks and seafood were prepared nicely, but the desserts were ordinary and not exceptional. Overall, this visit was a miss.05 Feb, 2013Cool Vibes and Magnificent Dining. This was my first visit to Eddie V’s and our party of four was not disappointed…in fact we were very impressed! Our server Rocco gave us impeccable attention – and just the right amount of it. We had a spicy tuna roll and Yellowtail sashimi as appetizers – both we’re delicious and beautiful. We all ordered a surf & turf combo with a lobster tail and a steak choice. I chose the 8 oz filet and my companions all chose the 16 oz New York strip. The beef was flavorful, tender, and perfectly grilled. Clearly their claims of steaks aged 28 days are true – these we’re exceptional steaks. The lobster tail was nicely prepared table side and attractively plated and served with our steaks. The soulful tunes from the trio in the lounge added just the right vibe to match the modern interior ambiance and five-star food. It was a marvelous evening of dining and I can’t wait to return!

Nice place.. We have eaten at Eddie V’s a couple of times and found it to have good food that is pretty high priced for what it is. Even though it is REAL good, I wouldn’t call it Great. I would probably go back and try it again. If the prices were just a tick lower, I would go there often. I liked the staff and the band they had playing. Good drinks. Overall, its a nice place.
Gosh our meal was horrendous. Sorry, I don’t understand how anyone would enjoy this restaurant. The fish was just plain bad. The vegetables were tasteless and mushy. Salads were ok but it is hard to screw up a salad. Atmosphere hokey (false). Nice waitress though.
