Ate here with my wife Faye and a group of neighbors, Sunday evening. Had a delightful conversation with Joel, the group organizer. He is a southern guy with a delightful personality, which made our dinner more interesting. I ate fried chicken breast and fried catfish, with green beans and collard greens as my side, both needed more seasoning and smoke, and my wife had the chicken, a bit overcooked and dry also, and with sweet potatoes (excellent), and mac-n-cheese, which needed some warmth, as it was served tepid. It was all served with cornbread that was quite crumbly and tasteless. Two fountain drinks and a bit over $30 was the bill. Should have been a bit less, but was fun none the less! I would rate it a 3-star meal.

Best Soul Food in the Valley. Coming from the South and Midwest I KNOW what good soul food is….this my friends is the best soul food that the Valley has to offer. I ALWAYS get the chicken, greens, and mac and cheese and it is always cooked to perfection. I would eat here every night if I could afford it and if it didn’t go to my hips. It doesn’t look like a 5-star restaurant, but it’s family owned and they always treat me great when I come in.
Little More on the sides, please.. Food is good, but I need more than two spoons full of side item.Great paintings on wall. But, I’d like to hear jazz music playing instead of radio.

Not good. I ordered take out and I found a staple in my food.Second the catfish was dry and they used only Corn meal they should have mixed Their corn meal with flour. the fish was horrible, the Mac and Cheese need help, az people feel that this place is it, well they don’t know what good food is, look like I’m going to be cooking my own food sorry Ezekiel. It was not good it could be better. Want be spending my money there any more. People check out babe Kay’s you want go wrong. You should go also Ezekiel so you can see how fish should be cooked.
Ezekiel’s. Wonderful southern style food in Ahwatukee. Great fish, ribs and fried chicken. Mac & cheese to die for!
