Best restaurant ever!!! They have wonderful service, great food, and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for??? I’ve tried practically everything on the menu and I can’t complain about a single thing. The staff is amazingly friendly, and wonderful. I recommend going in for lunch, it’s a steal. You get an entree, fried rice, egg roll, soup, and fried wontons for less than $10. But of course going in for a family dinner is good too!!
No Flavor. Ordered for take-out. When we opened the containers it looked and smelled good. But…. It was soooo unflavorful. We ordered the Volcano Shrimp, which is supposed to be spicy. Obviously, if the name is Volcano, you expect it to be super spicy…NOPE! Everything else we ordered lacked flavor too. Well, the chop suey had flavor…just like the stuff you can get from a can. We will not be back.
Golden Phoenix. Remember eating here with my Mom years ago, it was her favorite…..recently tried for lunch, thought we would try dinner before making final decsion on our like or dislike. The staff was very friendly, place very authentic looking, but the food dissapointed both times. Dishes lacked flavor. Sesame beef was good, but chicken Chop Suey, Chow Mein and Sweet and Sour Pork were dull, did not bother to take home leftovers. Even though this place is close….probably won’t return.
Golden Phoenix on 16th Street In Phoenix is GREAT FOOD!. I’ve eaten here for years and years and years, and it just keeps getting better. The Peking Egg Fu-Yung is wonderful. Their Pu-Pu Platter is a meal in itself. The Orange Peel Chicken is to die for. And Maria and her husband are as nice as can be, and so is the entire wait staff. The prices are moderate, and the service is great. If you want authentic Chinese food, run here, don’t walk.
Tasty and Friendly. Stopped in for a quick Sunday night dinner. Large menu with a lot of the standard items. We had shrimp and scallops with garlic sauce. It was really good. The sauce was the best. Also had house special chicken. Very tasty as well. Needs more sauce then they give you, but still very good. Would definitely go back again.
Quintessential Multi-Regional Chinese!. The best Chinese on the planet! The most amazing sizzling rice soup…….it’s so savoury!!Get the House Special Chicken, it melts in your mouth:)Garlic Shrimp is out of this world……….Mongolian Beef too. The Moo Shoo is so delicious and they wrap it with such amazing precision at your table. Eat family style and save a few bucks because this place is expensive……..but so very worth every penny compared to many places I’ve been. A thousand thumbs up!!
