We bought lunch for our family this past weekend – all if us absolutely loved it! Best BBQ we’ve ever had!!

Annie. My husband and I tried Hap’s for the first time and were very happy with the service and the food. We enjoyed ribs, chicken & brisket, all of which were very tender. We also enjoyed mashed potatoes, cole slaw and garlic toast. We will definitely be back.

STILL AWESOME!. Just made another trip to Hap’s… the food was great as usual. The ribs are absolutely the best in town. I’ve tried a few other places that just don’t measure up and cost so much more money. It is great to get good, affordable bbq. The staff is also very friendly which I appreciate, since I have walked into other restaurants just to be ignored for several minutes. My son loves the broccoli cheese casserole and the cobblers, too. Oh, yes, and when the family gets together they want to know if I’m bringing Hap’s! KUDOS!

I’ve been eating at Haps for over 20 years, since the days they had the trailer in front of the car lot. My last two meals there have been way below par. Limited serving size, bland sauce and fake happy service. I can only imagine management or ownership has changed to allow such a huge drop in the experience. Too bad…Haps was the best…now not so much.

Cold BBQ. I haven’t been in a while (and used to like it) and maybe today’s visit is why. Ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, bit into it and the chicken was stone cold. They were very nice about it and made a new one, which had pieces that were warm-hot, and pieces that were again stone cold. Chicken was tough and pieces were either dry or slimy. After a few bites (only because I was hungry and had to get back to work!) finally tossed it in the trash. I won’t be going back!

Pulled lamb is amazing. Smoky, tangy and sweet. Forget the napkins, you’ll be licking your fingers clean. #fb

Hap’s gets major props for having Faygo. The mashed potatoes were delicious as was the BBQ sauce, but the brisket was not tender enough.
