That was gross.. I had a overpriced Burger with a salad and cold French fries. The salad was on the same plate as the Burger and olive oil got all over the bun. Then when I asked for mustard the waitress acted like I was bothering her. It ended up costing $22 that I wished I’d spent somewhere else. I use to love there burgers. Now I think I’ll go to Rustlers Roost or the place with Kolbe Beef on Ray and 48th.
So, so good. Very laid back, funky place with awesome food. The wait time is worth it- but don’t go if you’ve got a tight schedule. The breakfast crepes are amazing.
Please get a gluten friendly menu!!! I hate this place because I can’t get any menu items that actually look decent. How hard is it to carry a loaf of gluten free bread? Is it that much to ask? Also, the service is mediocre at best.
To the owner. I went to Hill top caf in Ahwatukee as my first time their and will never go back their again.i order my own omlette and I had created my own asked for avocado,cheese,and onions and they service me with huge chunks of thick slices of red onion tons of it all though my omlette and give me 2 little slivers of avacados on the side the service was good..but the food was terriable who ever they have cooking for them need to out them in a 101 course on how to do better with their food,the only thing that was decent was the water and coffee sorry to say but will never go back their ever again and waste my money
May I mention….. I just left a good review and then read several bad ones. Mostly about service. It is laid back, the wait staff does not hover. If you have ever eaten in Italy you wait all night and have to beg for your bill, and still wait. The atmosphere is relaxed. If you want fast there is Denny’s, Olive Garden, Red Robin, and Mimi’s. I prefer an atmosphere that is not commercial and chain like and where food is fresh. Not a lot of competition for this type of restaurant in this location .11 Oct, 2013Love it. Only hip eatery in the area. Mostly consistent. We love the farm to table menu and quality is above average. It’s our go to spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner. We need more places like this in the south east valley so we don’t have to drive downtown or head to Scottsdale.
Over rated, not impressed with the food, service or the prices.
Probably Won’t Go Back. My husband and I were not impressed. The coffee is good but the food is not. My meal was cold and no flavor at all. Portions are really small and it is expensive for what you get. Service was soooooooo slow and it was not even busy when we went there. It is not awful but I won’t waste my money on it again.
