S#!t hole!!. Went into this restaurant one afternoon after golf, and it was almost impossible to get a drink in a bar that was hardly busy. When my drink did arrive it was slammed down in front of me like I asked for something over the top with my Budweiser bottle. Bar was full of shady characters. The food was less than stellar, cold and and real flavorful. The one thing that stood out was the poor and unfriendly service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Pretty bad. Having eaten here 3 times (owing to how close it is to home), I’m sad to say that there is nothing really good about Iron Works. The food is of poor quality and generally overpriced. The restaurant does feature a good view of the lake at the golf course, but the interior is looking worn and dated. The bar area is also fairly cramped and doesn’t have much in the way of compelling happy hour specials. A better pick would be Padre Murphy’s just around the corner.I hope that before we move they sell this restaurant to a new owner who will overhaul both the menu and interior. As it stands now, it’s just rank.
