New Ownership maybe clean now but old fish. This place used to be on dirty dining often. I found out they were under new ownership and now have a clean kitchen so I wanted to retry. You can see my picture of the fish not so fresh. I never had obviously old fish at a sushi place before. I will not return.

Waste of my money and time! …. Waste of my money and time!Miso came from premeasured packets… just add water and bam! Instant miso with tofu and scallions! Edamame had frost bite from the freezer and had more salt than soy sauce itself! The salmon skin rolls were chewier than my car tires, and all my rolls had the diameter of a quarter! Oh and if you want ear shattering music, than this is the place!

Good Sushi and Japanese beers. The sushi was some of the best I have had in AZ. Make sure to count your food though. We ordered 9 rolls and only received 8. We would not have known had we not compared the bill to what we actually got. The Japanese beer selection is good as are the sake bombers. The seafood seemed pretty fresh. I will be going back!

Expensive. Not as good as most sushi restaurants. Go to sakana at 59th ave and loop 101 instead.06 Jul, 2012Over priced for under whelming food compared to sushi 101 (has happy hour sushi!), sakana on 59th &101. Those are much better with way mite reasonable pricing.

Kawaii. My family and I frequently stop at kawaii. My children enjoy their sushi and soups. I almost always order their bento box which is so much food, I take half home. Staff is always friendly. And when i visit, their restaurant, as well as their restrooms are always clean.

I loved how unpretentious this place was. Service fantastic, same with the food. Fresh great quality. Would be back if I lived in this state!
