La Bocca Wine Bar and Urban Kitchen is located on High Street just behind Desert Ridge Mall. They offer a casual mixed menu with fresh baked Neapolitan pizzas and calzones. I had the seasonal salad with added chicken. My salad contained a lightly grilled peach, burrata cheese, candied walnuts, onions, toasted crusty bread. My husband tried a pizza. All was fine. Service was good and the atmosphere is a mix of modern and old that’s interesting.
My friends and I had a delightful dinner. We started with the Med plate. Babbaganoush was the best I’ve ever had. The bruschetta was delicious also. Heirloom beet salad was delicious- fresh baby arugala was peppery, right amount of feta cheese, mix of red & yellow beets. I’ve never eaten heirloom tomatoes with beets before, it was surprisingly good. Kitchen was quick, very nice plate presentation. The only thing I wish I could change was the loudness of the noise. We couldn’t hear each other across a four top! The acoustics is really bad. We’ll go back for lunch.
Delicious Food & Great Service. I’ve been here a few times now and both times the food and service have been great. The servers have been knowledgeable and friendly, the bruschetta excellent, and the setting enjoyable. I love the decor and I’m so glad to have a place like this up north. Their prosciutto fig bruschetta I have to admit is better than Postino, which is tough to beat. Their pizza was delicious and I had to keep everyone else at my table from trying to steal it!! Everyone I’ve brought here has loved the place as well and enjoyed each dish ordered.
Pass On This One. Completely pedestrian and over-priced food, lackluster service, long waits for drinks, inept management and a way too noisy environment all add up to – Stay Away.Don’t waste your time or money.
