Hidden Gem. Food and service is awesome. Its located in an industrial area so the location could be easily overlooked. Awesome place for good food, on a lunch break.
Best Hot Sauce Ever – Food is Awesome Too!. I go here for lunch since it is close to my work, and it has the best hot sauce I have ever had. As well, the food is delicious, and hot and fresh. I have had the tostada (which is hard to mess up), and the Chile Relleno. Both were excellent. I have now however been spoilied with good hot sauce and will be coming back to buy a pint of it to go.
The worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. Rice was clearly warned up from the night before.
BAD, BAD, BAD. This has been the worst lunch experiance i have ever had. I ordered a Nana’s Burrito, wait almost 15 min to be served an ICE COLD burrito. i do not recomend eating here. Then if being srved cold food isnt bad enought, the customer service needs help as well. Plan on waiting about 5 min to hav our order taken; and this is when you are the only one in line to order.
A Quick Breakfast or Lunch. La Canasta is located where Dina’s was on University. A client of mine had been visiting Dina’s for decades, and when he and I went in the other day for a late lunch, he said the quality of the food was maintained by the new folks operating the restaurant. The food was good and the people running it were very friendly. Open 7am for breakfast, to 3pm for lunch. Not at all fancy, but it looks clean and they have pretty good Mexican food.
