Love to try family owned local spots. Their Instagram account peaked my interest. They do have beer/margaritas available. We ordered chips, guacamole and pico de gallo. The pico was super fresh and delicious. We ordered just burritos. The red child beef with red sauce and green chili pork with green sauce. The meat was super tender in both but the green chili pork is definitely the star! Will come back and check out Taco Tuesday for sure!

Shrimp Ceviche Tostada… little peice of heaven. I always try to hit up a diners, drive-ins, and dives place when I go to a new city. We were craving mexican and I saw that Los Taquitos was close by, so we gave it a shot. This is a tiny place but it was packed for lunch. First off, the prices are fantastic. I always hate when mexican places try to overdo it and end up being pricey. Los Taquitos keeps it simple on all fronts. I went a la carte and got 2 enchiladas and the shrimp ceviche tostada. The enchiladas were decent, the beef inside was nice and tender but the red sauce didnt wow me. Luckily, I saved the tostada for last. The ceviche was fantastic. Nice amount of shrimp with plenty of fresh tomato, red onion and cucumber. The lime and jalapeno gave it that fresh kick you want from mexican style ceviche. It was the perfect zesty spice! My friend had a green chicken burrito and it was stuffed with chicken the green sauce was clearly homemade and not from a can. The chips and guac were good, but chips (and salsa) really should come free at a mexican joint like this… just my opinion! Overall, great experience, cheap bill, and delicious homemade mexican. Worth trying for sure.
I came back for dinner20 Nov, 2013Don’t judge this place from the parking lot. Staff was very accommodating with my strict gluten free diet (celiac disease) The food was fresh and delicious. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
We were here for lunch and had the ‘choose 3’ that was excellent and a full meal.
So so food. Chips & Salsa don’t come with your meal? Seriously? Even in Mexico you get chips & salsa.
Delicious. I work right down the street from this restaurant and it’s great everytime. The staff is alwasy so nice. The food always tastes freash. The street tacos meal is so much food for $8. A great lunch deal.I definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the mood for Mexican.
