Off the charts good. Don’t let the shopping center location fool you, this is outstanding food. Everything is prepared fresh, and it is outstanding. Started with the 3 street tacos, and they were so good got two more and tried there Tamale. The hot sauce is hard to explain, but is fantastic. It is spicy, but not overly so, and the flavors stay with you (in a good way). It is a complex flavor that is a little spicy but more flavorful than spicy and compliments the meat, which also is exceptionally flavorful. Simple food to perfection.Again, you have to try this place, very clean, sort of corporate looking, with the exception of the mural on the wall when you walk in. After you order from the counter you walk away with the type of food you only find in those hole in the wall places that a friend tells you about. This kitchen knows how to make great food.
Best Mexican food. I came here twice on my trip to Phoenix & loved everything I tried have no words to describe how good the food is here I would recommend everyone to try this place. My favorite thing hear if I had to pick on would be the beef enchilada’s.
Salsa was WOW Just WOW!. In the mood for some good salsa, chips and a beer. They have no beer, so went with a fountain drink instead. Very busy, and popular, long line but well worth the wait. Small dining area, and a fews tables outside in front. The salsa was not the Pico you think from the usual chains, this is chunks of fresh tomato, cilantro, onion, jalapeno peppers, went so well with my chips.I’m looking forward to returning, as by the customers, and the counter service it is a local place I’ll want to frequent.
Great Tacos. Got a selection of street tacos from Los Taquitos for take out a couple of times during our trip to Phoenix. We had a mix of chicken, steak, pork and fish. It was great. The tacos were fresh and flavorful. I think we ordered 20 tacos each time and they were gone quick. Very reasonably priced and quick service.
If you are looking for delicious and simple Mexican food, you found the right place. I recommend the Chile Relleno and ask for red and green sauce to accompany your meal. Steak burrito is dry, so take my advice with the sauces. If you speak your Spanish wrong they will correct you with a chuckle. Invest in some napkin holders. Also remember your tums because you will need it. Slightly above average for a Mexican take out joint.
Food AND Bar. Great tasting food and a good bar…what more can you ask for?
Saw this place on the Food Network and it does not disappoint. Also it’s a family owned and operated place and they are super friendly and helpful.
