The sign outside only reads King Wah. This used to be the very best Cantonese Restaurant in Metro Phoenix. The business was sold to new owners twice this year (2015) and the current new owner serves up a more Americanized Chinese Menu and also does offer Chinese Dishes to customers that can read Chinese. I tried the fish filet with Chinese Vegetables. I was happy that they used flounder instead of catfish or tilapia. Everything was prepared nicely and the dish was very tasty. My husband had the Hunan Beef. The beef was very tender and the sauce was a little sweet and also very spicy. Service was also great. Under this new ownership the food is seasoned more aggressively and you can get some spicy food here. Not the same as it was but overall a better than average Chinese Restaurant with potential.Slight update 6-4-17Besides the menu they now offer Chinese Specials that are posted in pictures around the dining room.
Excellent food, They offer two menu’s one that has the Americanized Chinese food and the other is a traditional Chinese menu in the hong kong style. So many items to choose from its truly amazing. Same owner as Luckys on Osborn and 19th ave.
