Wear a helmet. A Phoenix firefighter was blindsided by a chair last weekend and spent Saturday in the hospital having reconstructive surgery. The guy was a friend of the owner and left the place immediately after. Of course the owner will not tell anyone who he is. Better wear a helmet with a face mask if you go there. To the owner, do the right thing.
MEXIDON’T. Tonight was our first visit and last. The place is a dump, the service is horrible, the food is bland and the servers themselves are just rude.
Went to eat there for the first time. Awesome food and all made fresh daily.Friendly place and very nice folks. Recommend it highly. : )

Very Good Mexican Food. We have eaten at every Mexican food restaurant in Arizona, and Mi Familia is one of the best ones we have been to. I don’t know what the people with bad reviews actually like, maybe they haven’t paid attention to the 100 other restaurants in AZ that have marginal or poor quality food that is called mexican food.The staff is busy, many times, and if you blame them for rudeness on that account you’d blame most of the US for the same. The owner is very nice, but service is a lot of times like a mirror. If you’re rude, they will be rude. The restaurant has expanded and opened their cantina, which is also cool. We have had good service, and helpful service every time we go. The owner even runs between the kitchen and tables to get people food or other items.
Prices went up. No more daily specials.
This place is so gross. Staff is rude, and the food is horrible. Your only hope is to get drunk so you can’t taste the food!
