Oh my goodness! SOOOO good! I have been dying to find a Chinese place like this for what seems like forever! The gentlemen I spoke with over the phone (forgot his name- sorry!) was exceptionally friendly and was patient with my many questions. The food was HOT when we picked it up, and everything I wanted when we got home. The Beef w/ Broccoli was what you’d expect (Beef w/ Broccoli obviously lol) but with 10x more flavor. The Garlic Chicken has the perfect level of spice and garlic with the veggies cooked perfectly. And the Sweet & Sour Chicken was fried to perfection with the sauce on the side- because let’s be honest…. Some other places drown the chicken in it. And this was just tonight’s order; Can’t wait to try more!The restaurant doesn’t look like much when you pull up to it, but don’t let that fool you! This place is sooooo good! My family and I will absolutely become regulars!
I have been ordering from Mr. Cooks for about a year now , since we moved up to Desert Ridge from Ahwatukee area. I love it, they are always fast, the food is always hot and packed well so that it doesn’t get all over the place/leak. They are always friendly and the food is great. Our favorite is the Pork fried rice, egg drop soup – the lemon chicken is great, different than what I would normally order but the sauce is yummy. Noodle dishes aren’t as good as the rest of the dishes but overall for delivery I can’t complain. I also like how their orange chicken isn’t loaded down by breading, the breading is fairly light.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR MONEY. I placed an order with Mr. Cooks Chinese Cuisine over 90 minutes ago and it still has not been delivered. I called and the first time I was told it was out for delivery. I waited 15 more minutes and I called again two more times. At this point the restaurant is closed and no one answered my second or third call. I am extremely upset and very hungry.
Good food.. We called for delivery and it was made in about 30 minutes. Food was good and enough for another meal.Did not care for won ton soup. Little Peking is better.I would recommend Mr. Cooks
Bland for the price.. Got the Kung poa shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls, and dragon in phoenix. Pretty disappointed in the lack of flavor on all dishes. Not impressed, not going back. Well over priced for the quality in my opinion.
Don’t let the outside fool you. I got one of their menus on my door and unlike most Chinese menus, you could tell they put some time and effort into making this thing professional. I have to say that pretty pictures did in fact translate to delicious food. Fried dumplings were beautiful. I think a craving for them will be what brings me back. Got the Hunan chicken and Szechuan chicken, both were executed well. Most notably was actually the consistency of the vegetables. Cooked enough to be tender but not at all soggy. It was a good experience. Will be back.
