The dish that my date and I both ordered was not well prepared or to our liking. Overly cooked and much too salty. The food prep was not the problem, it was more the response we got from our server, and the manager, that was not at all accommodating. UNCARING and UNPROFESSIONAL!! I am a 32 year resident here in the Valley and have never had this type of experience before in a Phoenix restaurant. I will not be returning to NICK’s anytime soon.
Nice patio but blah food. I ordered the special of spicy clams and the clams did not appear to have been cleaned and were full of grit and the marinara sauce was not spicey at all. I also tried the mushroom ravioli which was ok but nothing special.
No Flavor. Nicks pizza didn’t have enough flavor for my wife and I, and trust me, we are not super picky, we just know what we like to eat.
Very classic and totally complete Italian neighborhood restaurant. Wonderful mix of offerings and lively happy hour.
My name is nick as well, which is what lured me. Great pizza, great price.
Nicks is a really great place to relax and enjoy a meal. A varied menu Italian & seafood with several specials are offered at reasonable prices. The outside dining has a nice, cozy atmosphere and the service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. We’ll go back.
Nick’s, great Italian.. Nick’s wins as my favorite Italian restaurant of choice. I’ve gone here, on average, once a week for years, and I never get tired of their menu, or their service. My favorite dish is the crab ravioli, which they make on the premises. They have a fantastic wine list, too. It isn’t long, but the wines on it are excellent. It is always my first choice restaurant for entertaining out of town guests. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of casual yet elegant so it’s equally comfortable whether I’m dressed up or down. I love the place.
