I visit this OTB about 3 to 4 times a month, and I would like to say that my server Shannon, has got to be the best at what she does. always pleased when she serves us. awesome personality & work ethics ,makes our next visit one to look forward to.
Horrendous. It took 12 minutes to be greeted, our food came out before and we fished our meal, before we got our drinks. wouldn’t have been so bad if the manager wasn’t watching the game the whole time while our server ran around like a lost puppy.
On the Border at Ahwatukee. We had a great service! I was very impressed with our server Stephanie. She helped made our evening so much more enjoyable. We never had to ask for refills on beverages or chips. She is an awesome waitress.
Dean. My overall experience at On the Border was unimpressive. My waitress, Ashley, did a very poor job and neglected my wife and I during our visit. She seemed like she was confused half of the time and brought our food out cold. The food probably would have tasted much better if it had actually been warm. I am not sure if I would give the restaurant another try, maybe if the service was better.
Just Another Mexican Corporate Chain. Overrated by those who do not know real mexican.
Great chicken & steak fajitas. Chips & Salsa come with the meal. Fresh made tortillas are a plus. They will even bring tortilla dough for the kids to play with like play dough.
Bad Food, High Prices. On the Border is not worth the gas money to get too. Their food is horrible and their prices are high. If you are going to go out and pay the $$ for Americanized Mexican food at least drive up the road to Macayos and save some money or better yet hit up Baja Fresh or Rubios if you are trying to save a buck. Just don’t go here.
