Ramiro’s was barely okay. Not terrible. But certainly far from great. But with sooooo many other choices in the area it’s tough to find a reason to go back. I will say that their assortment of combinations was pretty good. One featured and enchilada and a chile relleno – a combination I’ve not often seen. Alas, the chile was probably the worst I’ve ever had. But I gave it a shot!

Not *Bertos, but close enough. Ramiros is a taqueria in the style of the many, many *bertos restaurants in the Phoenix area. For gringos like myself, the tacos, taquitos and quesadillas are perfect. They also have traditional taqueria food like cabeza. I can’t say I recommend that, but the rest of their food is good.On weekends and some weekday nights, there are huge (and I mean huge) crowds of teenagers in the parking lots with their cars. I’ve never had any trouble getting food at this time, but then again I don’t make a habit of it.
