Terrible experience. This place has its ups and downs, and tonight was a definite turn for the worse. It looks like a new menu, and some changes inside too, so maybe it has a new owner? We won’t be going back! We ordered wine and water, that came out along with the bread fairly quick. The bread dipping oil did not have any pepper. We also ordered a calamari, but that was very dry and really small too-about 8 pieces. We complained about the calamari, our waitress said she would send over the manager. We never had a visit from the manager. A forever wait for the main course ensued…no visits from the wait staff and my water glass was empty and we were out of bread. Our main entrees were also dry and not as hot as they should be.
Great food for the whole family. If you want a great meal with quick service at an affordable price then this is the place to go. I ate here with my wife and daughter and we really enjoyed the quick service and the quality of the food. My daughter liked how they gave her crayons and she was able to write all over the paper table cover. On top of the free fresh bread they serve you with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette, we started with the Caesar Salad ($3) and the Caprese Salad ($9) which were both brought out very quickly and tasted great. For our mains, we had the Chicken Alfredo ($13.50), Mushroom Ravioli ($13) and the Kids Spaghetti & Meatballs ($6). The food was all very tasty.
Disapointed. Stopped by for a celebratory lunch with our daughter. Not greeted upon arrival, server however did approach and seated us. He was great, kitchen messed up the order, Mgr delivered my daughters entree in a chipped bowl, he didn’t seem to care. My order was to be dressed in lemon butter, came dripping in grease. My daughters’ entree was served with shrimp instead of chicken as ordered, when server mentioned it to the Mgr he yelled at the cook in front of us. Portions were so small if it wasn’t for the bread we would have left hungry. I tried to contact the corporate office to mention how disapointed we were for what is usually a great experience. No return contact from corporate. We won’t return to this location.
Service was horrible. I came w my office friends. The Waiter messed up orders and would come back 15 later to fix things. Food was also mediocre.
I am quite biased because I used to work for Macaroni Grill as a server. We went to dinner at this location tonight. The service was excellent. Most Macaroni grill servers are very nice and always helpful. The food was ok. I have noticed the food go down on the delicious meter over the years. For example, our plates today didn’t look very presentable. If you are at home and you’re cooking, you don’t really need the element of presentation. However if you dine out to eat, you expect your plate to look good. To look professionally appetizing. Maybe they need a new expo! Who knows. Also the calamari tasted a little soggy and the flavoring was a little blah. I like it because of my history with macaroni grill and there are times when I go there and my meal exceeds expectations. But it is sort of a coin toss…
Great Experience Not So Great. First we waited 20 minutes after have been seated, then the server introduce himself & came back 10 minutes later & said that he need to be check in by manager before he can serve us. I said its okay if he is new employee but we are hungry but he said manager new policy. The server more like a car sales people by trying to sell you the alcohol & food you didn’t ask rather serving you the food we order. I can read the menu & way to dark of an atmosphere. Side plate & spoons are either dirty or have water spot & the wine glass setting are over rated & accident waiting to happen with my children. The soup is to salty & cold and the bread is as hard as a rock. last but not the least my husband & I Anniversary and the male opera singer is no longer singing that place. The server is trying to sing a happy birthday song & my husband said its our Anniversary not birthday. What a disaster!
Good food, good service. They’ve taken a few items off the menu recently, though they’re still available if you ask.
