Sakana is quite busy during the week with the Happy Hour menu. The food took far too long to reach the table and they need to work on timing. We received and finished eating 4 of 5 rolls ordered before our last roll made it to the table. In terms of quality, the flavors were unexciting and the rolls were falling apart with too much rice. The Happy Hour menu is okay (at best) if you just want cheap, poorly-made sushi.
First time here with some relatives who have been here before. We had a variety of things and we’re pleased with all of them. Good quality food and service was good.
Best Bento Lunch in years!. Stopped in at noon on Tuesday. Seated right away, though they soon got packed.Ordered the Bento lunch.Hot green tea & miso soup arrived quickly, very good soup.Bento included a large fresh green salad, with just the right amount of dressing. A little squid salad, and a little pickled cucumber. 3 large, crunchy & delicious teriyaki chicken filets, 4 pieces of Calif. roll, half a fried spring roll, and 2 fried gyoza. This was a very satisfying meal. All tasted fresh and well prepared. Server was efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back!Food……….B+Service…….BAmbience….BValue……….B
