One of the BEST Deals in town is the Salty Sow’s Sunday Brunch Buffet. At the time of this review the cost is $18.95 and they serve 10-2. All the food was really delicious especially the Crispy Corn Flake Crusted Sticky Sweet Boneless Fried Chicken Breast. They will make you fresh eggs to order with your brunch but they have so many things to try you can’t eat everything. They offer a meat craving station, Buttered Trout Almondine, Fried green tomatoes with guacamole, A really nice looking baked egg dish, Biscuits, Prime Rib Hash, Grits, Asparagus, Beets with Goat Cheese, Poached Eggs over something Pastries, Bagels and MORE. The Drink Specials were $5.00 make your own Bloody Mary’s at Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosas for $4.00. All the Food was really good. The Server gets you your beverage and clears your plates and you PIG OUT and help yourself. The inside is sort of industrial modern. The low top booths are very comfortable. They also offer High Top Booths and a large outside dog friendly patio. Slight update 2-2-17Current Buffet Price is $19.95 and some of the items offered differ slightly. The current Hot Smoked Salmon they offer is absolutely AMAZING!

Tony was out server and provided great customer service, from drink and food recommendations, explaining the menu better than most, attentive to the table with refills and checking in. The food itself was all very well prepared and had a nice balance. Will definitely go again.
Great Food, Great Service!. I’m not sure what these other reviews are talking about. This place if far from an Applebees. I have been here twice with large parties and the service has been great! Two waiters for our table. The food is awesome too! Lamb Burger, Fresh & Smoked Salmon Rillette, GREEN CHILI PORK STEW, FARM SALAD and SLOW-COOKED BEEF SHOULDER all very good. They also have some great signature cocktails and local beer to boot! I’m fortunate to have such a great restaurant close to my house!
It was BAD. The salad was good but how hard is it to make a good salad? Their fried green tomatoes were cut too thick, they were tasteless, nothing special. The cripsy brussel sprout leaves tasted like cardboard. There was no sauce or dip. We had a nice server, but the service was awful! We went on a Monday and no one was there, the food took forever! The fish and chicken weren’t fully cooked. The filet was ok but it was not filling at all. Over all it was disappointing.
Great food, great waiter… Music needs to turned off… Felt like i was in an Applebees. People screaming at happy hour over the music = not fun for other patrons. Wont come back if this loud again. Such a shame, because its a great place for the area,
If you enjoy a charcuterie style menu, try The Salty Sow! Great flavour, service and decor. Casual but classy.
