Not the best Pad Gra Prao. It might not fair to judge a restaurant on one dish but I can say for sure many people might be disappointed in the Pad Gra Prao if they are aware of how that simple Thai Classic dish should be prepared. When I tried it I got a strong Jalapeo flavor followed by sweet. It was VERY SWEET and lacked basil and that funk fish sauce taste that balances out the dish and it’s that taste that makes this dish delicious. The chicken was dry but passable. I accidentally kept eating the jalapeos in the dish because they were cut like bell peppers that fooled me. Pad Gra Prao should be hot but not a jalapeo taste.I don’t know if it was just a slightly off day or the one dish that they don’t do best?

Great!. We had dinner here one recent Friday night at 6:30. We were seated right away by a very friendly woman. She asked if we were familiar with Thai food and and offered explanations and suggestions. I ordered spring rolls and the spicy combination. The spring rolls were light and flavorful without being too greasy. The spicy combination was ordered mild and was excellent.! I will return to this gem!

My favorite Thai restaurant in the valley. For the past couple of days, I have been struggling to write why this is my favorite Thai restaurant, and i can’t, it just is!The food is flavorful, meals are spicy, and the prices are reasonable. They use chicken breast in most of their dishes, and quality beef when it is called for. If ordering a hot dish, be prepared to bring a towel, she will burn you. This is one place that understands that you don’t just add some pepper flakes if you want it hot, she adds pure jalepeno fire and a dash of hell to fire that dish right up.I will adjust this review if I can find more adjectives to use. The New Times article is pretty much on point. Some advice: 1. ask for a lime wedge for your noodle dishes (pad thai, pad see ewe). It will make the dishes even better.2. Phet (pet) means spicy hot. Add this phrase to the end of your order and you are guaranteed to spice the dish to epic proportions.
