Super Dragon is my favorite place for Chinese so far. It isn’t greasy or overdone. I don’t order often but when I do I always receive good service and the food has always been on point.
Eh not the best
LOVED IT!. I grew up in Monterey Park, California which is like a modern China Town now. It use to be Japanese is the 70’s but now Chinese. Honestly the best Chinese I have ever tried in my life is a chain from China called Sam Woo Bar B Que. Thats where all the chinese would go. I really believe that their are 2 types of Chinese restaurants. The americanized versions which are traditional 1960’s or 1970’s style. They serve chow mein and so forth. My boyfriend is a big fan of these types. It took me awhile to like them. I will say that for this style its the best I have tried so far in Arizona. Its got that real vintage look inside. They give you the traditional mustard or plum sauce for dip with your egg roll order. I ordered the Singapore noodles which I highly recommend. I loved the sizzling rice soup. Now this food is Cantonese style with a few Hunan dishes on the menu. Cantonese food is meant to be a bit soft flavored. It’s really good if you are in the mood. I don’t expect to find a place like Sam Woo in Phoenix. Just like I dont expect to find a great Bar b Que joint in Monterey Park. So far I will be revisiting the Super Dragon. I just wished I would have stopped by 3 years ago. Another big plus was my bill. The food is reasonable cause since I have been in Phoenix, Chinese food has been over priced. Also a big five stars on the service. They were all so friendly that I am going to tell all my friends. Good food and a smile are hard to find plus a bill that doesn’t break the bank. Now thats a good Saturday nite out!
Went there today because I’ve heard good things and it was a pleasant experience. Staff was friendly. Greeted me and found a table right away. Ordered the house chicken which was bomb (really good)! Order came out surprisingly fast. Enjoyed my hot tea. So much to try on the menu. Orders going to other tables looked great as well. Decor was outdated like something you’d see in the Golden Girls but definitely very family friendly. Can’t wait to try something new there.
One of my north central favs. Enjoy the staff but do a lot of grab and go on the way home.
Convenient Great For Families. We Love this Place it serves large families and takeout is easy. The owner is a pretty lady who always remembers you no matter the language barrier this is a great place for takeout and sometimes I just order the Garlic Green beans and serve as my side dish at home. My fav’s are Moo Goo Gai Pan-The shrimp in lobster sauce, and my Mother and daughters fav is lemon chicken.
Don’t Really Deliver !!!. Could almost understand the person speaking to me … on the second try she told me they don’t deliver. BUT, if I called another company and arranged for them to pick it up they would charge me separately for the delivery. Maybe I’m crazy, but if they say the deliver … THEY should deliver.
