The best place ever to get cake! I don’t necessarily go here for the food – though their dishes are amazing! I can never make up my mind, the menu is literally a playbook. I came for a birthday brunch just after midday. I was feeling for some breakfast food so I choose the Brle French Toast. They used nice thick slices of bread apparently soaked for 24 hours. So when cooked the outside was crispy and the inside was doughy. I thought maybe it would be soggy but the type of bread prevented that. It was topped with powered sugar and it came with a maple butter syrup. On to the best part…Cakes! I had the same cake I always do Linda’s Fudge Cake. This was a chocolate attack! Fudge on top, layers of chocolate cake and fudge in the middle. Then wrapped on the sides with chocolate chips and you guessed it – more fudge! My wife had the Red Velvet Cheesecake. Layers upon layers of goodness! Cream cheese frosting and then this had white chocolate on the side.
