The Joy Bus Diner is a 100% NON-PROFIT restaurant. They serve Breakfast and Lunch. Funds go to the Joy Bus Charity that delivers NON-COST chef created meals to cancer patients and others with severe illness. I had a Power Salad with added Salmon. My salad with packed with quinoa, garbanzo beans that seemed freshly prepared (not like canned), feta cheese, almonds, sweet tomatoes, creamy avocado and the added salmon that was smoked. It was a nice salad and my husband had the double patty melt. The patties are prepared medium/well but they are made with onions so they keep moist. The atmosphere is cheerful with brightly painted metal chairs and children’s artwork adorn the walls. My rating is based mostly on the work that is done there. When someone makes the world a better place that is just as good as it gets.
