Wonderful Thai Food!. I have been a regular at the Touch of Thai for several years now. I absolutely love their sate scewers and soups! Two of my favorite soups on the menu are Thom Yom Gai which is like a lemongrass soup with chicken, and also Gai Thom Kha (sorry about the spelling) which is like the lemongrass soup but with coconut milk. I enjoy this one more than the lemongrass. When you go, you MUST order a Thai Iced Tea. Don’t have too many or you’ll be up all night!!! These drinks are so delicious, i usually find myself having more than three before my meal comes just because i can’t bring myself to put it down. As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, i think it is cute for a family owned business. It definitely makes me feel like i am in a Thai restaurant! The servers are always very kind to me whenever i come in, and i have NEVER had a bad experience in the past 5 years that i have been coming here. I also highly recommend the coconut ice cream for dessert! I always grab a couple to go since it is only one scoop! Happy Dining.
I love this place! Good food ,good atmosphere!18 Dec, 2011This place has amazing Thai but they do not deliver!
The dish I got was okay.. I order out a Pad See Aew [sp]. I got it a little medium-hot spicy wise. I usually have to order hot, because American have different levels to the heat of the spices. Mild is really no neglageable spiciness too me. so medium would be a little spicy (as mild should be). So, not to take a chance, I got above medium (not hot) for my first dish at this resuraunt. Well actually it was just right for me.This dish was best when I first got it in theearky ’90’s at Char’s in Tempe. I do not know what it is like anymore there. I think I tool my wife there early in our relationship and they had changed it (or a different cook). So, I have not had a good Pad See Aew. I think Char’s added something special that the other no nothing about. It was good. I wonder if I should venture out and try to go to this resturant. Would love to see the ambience and if they are WheelChair accessible
Food is better than the service. Pretty good for lunch if you have the time.
Not worth it. We went to Touch of Thai a few weeks ago and are not anxious to go again. As other reviewers have mentioned the service is poor and our food was barely passable. We were there about 2 pm and it was not crowded but service was slow and after it came from the kitchen thats the last we saw of the server til it was time for the bill. Not on our list.
Loved the Red curry! Service left a lot to be desired. Good value for money. Might go back if I’m in the neighbourhood and craving Thai food!
Nice red curry. Very good value for lunch and I really recommend the red curry. I wouldn’t order their desserts though.
