Had a meat pizza. Don’t remember exactly what all was ok it- sausage, pepperoni. The real kicker was the cheese and the crust. It was mozzarella cheese but it must have been fresh because it was strong. It gave really good flavors. The crust was amazing I enjoyed that. Went in for lunch which was a special and 6.99 off every size. So got a large which was 18.99 regular down to 12 bucks which was a really good deal. A bust was the service. We came in one person gave us menus so we could look through what we wanted. When we were ready to be seated, he was no where to be found. Stood there 5 minutes until a lady in guessing manager got up from her table eating lunch with her family to sit us. Then another server came out to serve us water and take our orders. We were more than halfway done before asked if everything tastes alright. AND WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THERE EATING! (There was a lounge side 21+ as well, but we stayed in the dining area.)
Horrible service!!. We have been here a few times. The service has never been good, but this last weekend we were in the bar area almost 10 minutes and were ignored, and the dining room another 8 minutes with 2 waiters milling around setting tables, and they didn’t say a word to us. We asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one working. Who ever heard of something so irresponsible? We will never ever ever eat there again. We’ve told everyone we know, put it on Facebook and Twitter, and hopefully enough people have been warned.
Fantabulous!!!!. We finally found a North spot that we can love. TheUpper Crust offers delicious pizza fresh pasta, and wonderful salads with a decent wine list. We particularly like the Wings and Caprese Salad. The service here whether at the bar or at a table was prompt and courteous. We were told the menu is changing soon, adding many more food choices and a much wider assortment of wines. The popular nightspot is busy most nights but especially on 1/2 Price Wine by the Bottle Wednesday. We suggest you go early!
Terrible food and absolutely horrible service! It takes no less than 10 minutes to get a drink served by a terribly rude server. We went 4 or 5 times because our friends went there.., but we will never go again! Each experience was worse than the other. All the servers are rude smart alecks. Good luck getting your plates cleared from your table, it wont happen. You will have to look at your half eaten plate of grossness for the entire time you are there. The meatballs were bland and rubbery and most of what they serve is clearly frozen and then microwaved, and overpriced! The pizza is bland and usually cold. So do not go here! Be warned!!
Over-priced, Under-whelmed. Good pizza is so hard to find. Sadly we didn’t find it here either. It started out promising. And then failed catastrophically. This review is actually based on two separate dining occasions because the first had opening week jitters, we gave them the benefit of doubt. The chicken wings the first time were undercooked, we had to send them back for a new batch. Still raw with hot sauce mmm. The second time we visited the wings were less than half the size of your ordinary chicken wing size, over cooked, dried out, and swimming in sauce. One did not make up for the other. The pizza on the first visit was cooked well, however had too much sauce, not enough toppings and to be perfectly honest the flavor is not great. Not a lot of flavor in the sauce or the crust. Also the topping selection is extremely limited.Visit two. Completely awful. I had asked for extra thin crust, got extra thick. I had asked for extra light sauce, got extra sauce. The toppings were so skimpy the cheese didn’t cover the pizza in patches even. The pepperoni, well lets just say the cheese and pepperoni were like islands swimming on a sea of sauce.I don’t know how or why they did what they did. The first time we went there, we had a reasonably nice meal. The second time if it went wrong, it did. And it took forever to get our order and the place was not crowded.Sorry to say, going to keep passing this one by, not even worth the effort.
I phone ahead and order a large pie . They tell me it will be about half an hour cause they are really busy. I get there about 20 minutes later and wait another 25 minutes at the bar. Finally the bartender asks my name and then goes back to the kitchen and brings me a stone cold soggy pizza. What a joke. So sorry I didn’t just go to Humble Pie as usual!!!
