This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. My enchiladas were not cooked and the food was very bland. If you’re thinking about this place trust me taco bell is way better!
Nothing more inviting than a lovely aroma of Mexican cuisine. The ambience is casual and minimally decorated with Mexican decor. The staff is young and there were obvious immature mannerisms (rolling of eyes, scoffs, annoyed tones, etc), but they were prompt with beverages, chips & salsa, and delivering orders. I ordered a $4.99 Chile Relleno- a fine example! The batter was delicate and tasty- not soggy or heavy. The pepper and cheese were so mild, it was almost tasteless, but the sauce made up in flavor. I also ordered the Machaca Chimichanga- the highlight of the night! A huge fried tortilla stuffed with machaca shredded beef, diced tomatoes, onions, & peppers. The inside was as hot as the outside which isnot the case at many eateriesand the filling was fresh, not some hot-held-all-day mixture. I was so impressed, probably the best Chimichanga I’ve had in the Prescott Quad-city area. BEWARE- the parking lot is small, so come early or drive carefully!
I ate lunch there yesterday -ordered the chimi dinner which was one the server suggested. The chimi was very good to excellent -great flavor. it was stuffed with lots of tender moist shredded seasoned beef and roasted pepper s and onions. The beans and rice were certainly fresh, but a bit lacking in flavor though all the cheese over the beans helped. also, they were broiled to melt the cheese which dried out and roasted the rice. the chips were warm and good. the salsa -served in a fairly large bowl, was quite fresh and very good. it had medium heat.I probably will be back and certainly recommend for a first visit.
Mui Bueno!!!. I have been eating at Arturo’s since they opened, A great small town atmosphere with great people serving! Good prices yummy home made salsa. Love going there!!! Eat there at least two or three times a month. Addictive. 🙂
NO BUENO. Just another 1 of many mexican food joints, typical greasy chips and salsa restaurant, beans, rice, lettuce.T-shirt and jeans crowd there for cheap bottled beer and greasy tacos.
