1st and last visit. I tried the medium burger this Sunday afternoon. I did not find it very tasty at all. the meat was dry cooked to a medium well or further. I believe the outside Was char broiled burnt. The chicken was the same, burnt on the outside. I believe the owner is trying to save money by overpriced burgers and slicing vegetables so thin, you can see through them. This did not help With adding any flavor wont be back.
For the new owner. Today I ordered 2 med. size burgers. I ask for med/rare and med to go. Got well done. Also the buns are to small for the size of the meat. By the time I got home the bottom of the bun was soggy. May I suggest larger buns to fit the meat, plus but the hamburger on top of the lettace to avoid being soggy. And hire a cook that knows the difference of well done and med/rare or med. The meat is good but everything else was flat.
If you like a medium rare burger on a super soggy bun, this is your place. Fries are average. Seating is cramped.
New, but still the same. Under new ownership, the menu has been somewhat simplified but all the favorites are still there. The Chile Size and fries I had were still the same high quality as before.21 Apr, 2012Best I’ve ever had. Excellent beanless chile.09 Apr, 2011Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger!. I tried a medium (10oz) cheeseburger. All burgers automatically come with excellent fries and your choice of toppings including several kinds of cheese for the cheesy varieties. I’m a guy with a big appetite, and I was hungry, and this was about as much food as I could handle. My order took about 5 minutes to make during the lunch rush, and everything was obviously made from scratch. I don’t think it’s expensive for the quantity and the quality. For a little more money you can substitute sweet potato fries (why do these cost more?) or onion rings. For even more money, you can substitute chili cheese fries. They don’t ask how you want your burger cooked; I’d say they’re medium, and not overly greasy. This is a sit-down restaurant quality burger without the wait time or the tip.
Excellent. New owner, welcoming and pleasant. Employees excellent, burgers and fries the best in town. Lived in Prescott over 20 years, finally found a terrific hamburger and requested crispy fries. The chips are fantastic, prepared there. A+
Mouth watering burgers. I had the Green Chili Burger the small one at that and it was a monster. there is no way I could have finished the med or large sized one. Fast Food Burgers can’t hold a candle to the brown bag. if you are craving a burger don’t even think about going to Carls Jr. or Booger King. get your ass over to the Brown Bag and enjoy a burger and fries the way a burger and fries weren’t meant to be enjoyed.
A1 burgers. May be close to the best burger I have every ate. Choose your size but don’t be afraid to start with the small. I like green chile on mine.
