Definitely the best Mexican Food in Prescott! It has an authentic Sonoran-style flavor, friendly staff, and generous portions. Prices are great, especially the lunch specials. Caution: It’s habit-forming! It’s our family’s favorite!
It’s been a long time since I tried this place and it was packed for early dinner. Unfortunately, the food hasn’t gotten any better. Enchiladas Rojas were bland with practically no sauce, salsa was mild and watery, Shrimp Diablo was very spicy (unlike everything else here) but the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. Still can’t recommend it but if you want seafood they have a large selection here.

Not What it Use to Be. I happened to be going by Casa Sanchez today. I remember it use to be a great place for Mexican food the last time I was there .. circa 2007. I decided to give it a try. What a dismal experience. I had Carnitas. The meat was dry and over done. I asked for substitutes for rice and beans since I wasn’t going to have the tortillas. No low calorie substitute. The atmosphere was dark and depressing. A restaurant whose era had passed.
Tried again after a year, still not great. It’s been a long time since I tried this place and it was packed for early dinner. Unfortunately, the food hasn’t gotten any better. Lots of camarones options, as well as a whole fried tilapia.
Good hole in the wall Mexican food
