Very rustic dcor with lots of hardwood furniture and country chic accents. Very reasonable prices, moderate portions, and elegant food presentation. I ordered the Croque Madame, basically a fancy grilled ham and cheese sandwich, except has Smoked Ham, Gruyere Bchamel sauce, and Dijon mustard between 2 slices of Wheat berry bread and encrusted with Parmesan cheese and topped with a Fried Over-Easy Egg. This is definitely a knife-and-fork sandwich, not to be eaten with hands. The flavor was a nice balance of rich, smoky, and tangy with a creamy and crispy texture combination. The accompanying side salad was almost an appetizer in itself, a huge pile of mixed greens and diced tomatoes with choice of dressing. You can also choose a side of fruit or potato salad instead. They also offer an array of homemade Gelatos and Sorbettos. Their menu had many other appealing options including Breakfast (they boast their Skinny Pancakes and Quiche), Flatbread Pizza, Crepes (really wanted to try the Chicken Marsala!), Salads, and a Dinner Menu (4:30-9pm) with Pasta, Burgers, and Lamb. They also serve espresso, chai, Italian sodas, Smoothies, wine, beer, and cocktails.

You order at the counter from a large menu posted on the wall. Besides all the coffee options, there’s a large variety of upscale sandwiches and other lighter fare. Sadly, they no longer offer a separate dinner menu.

No Service. Two servers and only six tables. I have been here for 40 minutes and finally got a drink 25 minutes in. My server has dropped his tray twice. Where have our GREAT Prescott restaurants gone?

Terrible first time experience. Met couple friends for lunch, I order the grilled ham and gruyere cheese with caramelized onions. When the sandwich arrived it had 3 thin deli sliced smoked ham the cheese was not melted and no caramelized onions to be found. So asked if this is what I ordered and was told yes. I read the menu description to him and he said oh they must have forgotten the onions. I added and forgot to grill. He returned awhile later and gave me the sandwich and the outside Parm bun was warmer but the cheese was still stone cold and they added a teaspoon of chopped in tiny dice of onions. I really expected a great sandwich with gooey melted cheese and long stringy caramelized onions with reasonable amount of ham for $8.00. The parm bread and mayo were good but it was really all I could taste. My friend ordered toast for her tuna and got cold bread, she said they must keep their bread in the fridge it is so cold but she did not return hers. We were all very disappointed. Would never go back, never.

Dinners are different. I tried the new sit-down dinner service. You can still order at the counter and get anything on the lunch menu but in the evenings there’s a separate table service menu. It’s all French inspired and elegant at a reasonable price. I had the Beef and Pork en Crote which is like meatloaf baked in a pastry crust with a nice sauce. My partner enjoyed her Salmon. Worth a try.12 Oct, 2013Crepes galore. Besides the huge coffee and drink menu, this bistro offers some full breakfast choices, cold and melt sandwiches, and a ton of different kinds of crepes. Minimalist but clean decor with a French theme. The chicken pesto sandwich I had was excellent. It came on great, but crumbly, parmesan cheese bread.

It’s a coffeehouse that needs to remain a coffeehouse. Rather than go into details of our experiences suffice it to say that it is a very nice little coffeehouse and their soups and sandwiches are quite tasty. As a dinner spot, it leaves much to be desired… very much. The owners need to leave well enough alone and excel as a coffeehouse and stay out of the restaurant business as from our experience they are not very good at it. Specifics? Overcooked ribs, pasty crepes, clumpy polenta, tasteless garlic mashed potatoes, obviously canned veggies, shriveled, dry peas, over grilled chicken and to top it off, an entire, unshelled pistachio in my gelato.

I was privileged to be invited to Cupper’s soft opening and have returned 5 additional times, because it is THAT good. The lunch menu is not only healthy, also delicious. Love the tuna salad, fresh greens and an albacore tuna, lightly doused with a white balsamic dressing. If you go, save room for the gelato, made on the premises, and if you go for breakfast, the Denver scramble, with a cup of fresh brewed heavenly coffee will get your day started in grand style. This a locally owned Prescott Gem.
