The ambience was great, small bar tables & chairsmade fortight seating & dining, the menu had many unique choices, the prices moderate, the portions small, the staff horrible!! This place is incredibly popular thus busy. Took forever to be seated, took forever to bring us water & menus, took forever to come back and take order, took forever to get food, and server never came back. We had to request our bill as we were leaving and felt no obligation to tip the poor service. With the menu being so vast (tons of tapas!!!), it would have been especially helpful to have a more attentive staff to help customers make recommendations and boost revenue! Retraining the staff in customer service, menu knowledge, and time management could go a long way here.
Arrogant, Defensive, Abusive ManagementBefore I go anywhere, I check whether there is anything I can eat given my considerable dietary limitations. When I called I was specific that I can only eat vegan with egg or fish. The young lady started listing names of dishes she thought would be ok for me. I asked her for details. The first ingredient she stated was ‘shrimp’. oops… So I asked for a manager. He was very defensive about how wonderful the food was and how they had a wide variety available they could make from scratch and how his staff does not need to be better trained to listen and had no intent to harm anyone. Sorry, intent is not relevant to causing an anaphylactic shock in someone due to negligence. I would not trust these people to prepare safe food.
Wish like anything I had taken pictures of the food, because it tasted even better than it looked!!! However, when it came I couldn’t keep the crowd off the food!!! We ordered 7 tapas for the table and all shared. AMAZING! We had fried artichokes, jammin’ chicken, sticky chicken (YUM!), papas con queso, coconut fried shrimp, pecan/goat cheese on pita bread, & beef and garlic!!! Lovely!! Wait staff also wonderful!!!! This is a must try gem in Prescott with great atmosphere over creek!!
