Bad…just bad. Their food was not good. No…just no.
Ho hum. We greatly anticipated our meal at Esoji because we were seriously jonesing for some good Japanese food.We were seriously disappointed. The food was not near the quality of the comparable restaurants we used to eat at in Tucson and the prices were high.We also left there smelling like burned sesame seed oil from the inadequately vented hood over the cooking area. We won’t be back.
The Hakutsuru on the left was dry and a little one dimensional. The Katamba on the right was less dry and more complex.12 Mar, 2011The best sushi in town. You can tell a sushi restaurant is upscale when they have Japanese staff and a sake menu! Excellent quality but you’ll pay for it.
Pricey, but worth it.. It’s a bit expensive, but if you need to treat yourself, Esoji is the best Japanese restaurant in Prescott. YUM! Watching the sushi prepared fresh before you is a nice touch, as well.
Sushi as good or better than anything you can get in Phoenix. Remarkable for a small city like Prescott.
Best sushi in Prescott! Impressing for a town this small
