Absolutely stunning reastaurant interior. Comfortable upholstered chairs and booths. Food portions are ridiculously huge! Coconut shrimp is not what I call coconut shrimp, it’s no coconut used and only coconut flour used. Skip it. Mee Grob was subtle and tasty. I loved the spring rolls and we got the shrimp and veggie tempura, which was good only missed sweet potatos on the plater. Young inexperienced wait staff, they were nice but didn’t understand how to handle our issue with the coconut shrimp. Also, she should have explained when we ordered, as we weren’t trying to other just fried food. Overall, good Thai food that is $$$, but also has large servings. I asked about dessert, as I love coconut ice cream. She explained that they do have it, but again it’s some weird take on it and l had learned to skip that.
Tonight I dined here for the second time and brought our friends with us because we always raved about this place. Tonight, however was very disappointing. We had Elisa Q. as our server who was a pretentious person. She was completely condescending and was about the worse server I have ever had and experienced. The Spice Roasted Duck was flavorless and not crispy at all. The Pork Belly was so tough that it took almost 2 minutes to cut into it. We had to send these entrees back. We order the Thai sampler and was not even described the sauces on the plate. We got the Thai Pho Soup which we order a 3 and got a spice of 1. In a normal Thai restaurant you would be served the first cup of soup from the pot. In this case we did not get served the first cup, we had to serve our selves. I split the bill between 2 cards leaving Miss Elisa Q. a total of $1.00 per card as a tip. I will be watching to see if she changes these amounts. I think if you want good Thai food, then skip this place, and go to Toi’s Thai in Prescott Valley.
