WORST experience EVER. I have never been treated so poorly at any restaurant or store in my life. Our waitress was CLEARLY inconvenienced by our presence, she took any and all opportunities she had to convey that feeling. Including but NOT limited to rude demeanor, incorrect orders slopped onto the table (sausage plate was literally stacked directly UNDER another plate!!) drinks dribbled across table as poured and the cashier glaring at us the entire meal. The food was sub-par, bland and greasy. Not to mention the disgustingly dirty kitchen we got a glimpse of while paying the rude cashier.I was with a group of my friends, 4 of us total, all of us felt the same after our experince. We will NEVER eat there again and will be telling anyone we can to not waste their time, money or digestive health at this establishment.
Look elsewhere. After seeing this restaurant for about a year We decided to try it and support local business,.BIg mistake. Perhaps the lack of people in the restaurant at 8:30 should have been a warningThe eggs were not cooked fully – whites were runny and eggs cold. You get 1 small tub of syrup which is about enough for half the waffle. Ham was cold.Service was mediocre/I usually like smaller restaurants – but this was a total let down. There are lots of other places with better food and better pricesDo not waste your time.
Just OK. There’s a large breakfast menu here and the food is reasonably priced. The quality is OK but nothing to write home about. The staff is friendly except for the owner who is usually behind the cash register and can be grumpy sometimes.
Don’t know why there are bad reviews. Yes it is a unique little hole in the wall but the prices are lower than almost anywhere in Prescott, the portions are good sized and it is my VERY favorite place for biscuits and gravy. Where else will you get 3 big biscuits cut in half and SMOTHERED in nice sausage gravy out the door for $4.65! I LOVE this place and I can’t wait for.breakfast!
Like a comfortable shoe. I’ll admit, it’s not much to look at. Dumpy little building, dirt parking lot and funky paneling interior. But if you want a solid, no-nonsense American breakfast, this is the place. The food is always good and there’s zero attitude.
We really enjoy this quaint restaurant!. The Waffle Iron has been a favorite for us for years. As you walk in, this establishment gives you an old fashioned feel. You’re always met with a warm friendly greeting. The waffles are amazing!
Denny’s food is better which says a lot. Woman seating people was rude and uninviting. Prev reviewer said coffee was crappy and he hit that on the head. Only positive: home made salsa was pretty decent
