Had breakfast with my wife and son who we had come up to visit. My wife and son went with one of the omelets and hash browns, I went with the Ham with bone in, home fries, biscuits and gravy and we all had coffee. Even though there were a few ahead of us the wait was not bad at all. Service was great, atmosphere was great, food tasted great, and one of the best cups of coffee we all had ever had in a restaurant. I have always loved the Mom & Pop style restaurants originally being from Missouri and I was not disappointed by Waffle Iron. If you are looking for a place to talk it up with the waitresses then this is the wrong place and that’s not a bad thing because they are too busy giving attention to each table. Never had to ask for a refill of my coffee which I got many because they were Johnny on the Spot with coffee or water. I loved the pictures on the walls and all the other dcor. Prices were very reasonable as we paid less than $40 for the 3 of us with portions that were so large that I had to take part of my Ham Steak and Biscuits & Gravy with me. Very nice, home like atmosphere and will definitely return here whenever we go to Prescott in the future.Very much worth any wait you might have and a MUST at least one of your mornings in Prescott, AZ.
