This is a favorite stop for me whenever I drive up to Prescott. I love the bohemian style dcor, the comfy couches and of course the yummy pastries. Wild Iris is located a block from the downtown center square and has been open since 2007. The name itself is a tribute to the owner’s aunt (the story can be found on their website). They have quite a variety of fresh made from scratch pastries to choose from. I recently tried one of their popular cronuts (doughnuts made with croissant dough) and found them to be delightful. Other items that they serve are sandwiches, soups, quiche, homemade granola, pies and cupcakes.I love the vibe here. It is super laid back despite being popular with visiting tourists. The customer service has always been great each time I come here. Their coffee is wonderful and I usually get their popular Mexican Mocha. It has all the flavors of a great mocha with a slight kick to it. The courtyard area outside has plenty of seating and is also pet friendly. This has been a nice find for me and definitely worth a visit if you are an out-of-town visitor like myself. foodartandculture.com
